FTAT - Rock Connect
DAS Network-Event für die Rock- und Metal-Szene in Österreich

Es ist nicht einfach, es in der Musikszene zu schaffen. Alle haben es schwer, jeder struggled und trotzdem herrscht in der Rock- und Metalszene Einzelkämpfer-Mentalität. Jede Band kämpft für sich, aber geht das ganz alleine? For Those About To Rock hat das „Rock Connect“ ins Leben gerufen, weil wir der Überzeugung sind, dass man gemeinsam mehr erreichen kann! Es braucht einen Ort, an dem Musiker*innen und Bands sich mit ihrer Community und mit Protagonisten aus der Branche vernetzen können!

Das FTAT - Rock Connect ist aber mehr als nur ein Treffpunkt - es ist eine Plattform, auf der Du Dein Projekt vorstellen, Ideen austauschen und neue Kontakte knüpfen kannst. Einmal im Monat soll das Event Musiker*innen und Bands aus der Rock- und Metalszene genauso versammeln wie Fans und Musikenthusiast*innen.

Alle anwesenden Bands und Musiker*innen, werden nicht nur in die Playlist des Abends aufgenommen, sondern auch in unserer wöchentlichen Radiosendung For Those About To Rock mit Songs und Interviews gefeatured.

Außerdem legen wir einen besonderen Wert darauf Wissen zu vermitteln, das den Artists auf ihrem Karriereweg weiterhelfen soll. Wie schreibe ich einen Pressetext? Wie muss mein Presskit aussehen und wie bekomme ich den erhofften Plattenvertrag oder den Festivalslot? Dazu tauschen wir uns nicht nur untereinander mit kurzen Talks aus, sondern laden auch Expert*innen aus der Musikbranche ein.

FTAT - Rock Connect
THE Network Event for the Rock and Metal Scene in Austria

Making it in the music scene isn't easy. Everyone faces challenges, everyone struggles, and yet there's still a prevailing lone wolf mentality in the rock and metal scene. Every band fights for themselves, but can they succeed alone? For Those About To Rock has launched "Rock Connect" because we believe that together, we can achieve more! We need a place where musicians and bands can connect with their community and industry players!

But FTAT - Rock Connect is more than just a meeting - it's a platform where you can showcase your project, exchange ideas, and make new contacts. Once a month, the event aims to gather musicians and bands from the rock and metal scene as well as fans and music enthusiasts.

All attending bands and musicians will not only be featured in the evening's playlist but also in our weekly radio show For Those About To Rock with songs and interviews.

Furthermore, we place a special emphasis on providing knowledge that can help artists in their career path. How do I write a press release? What should my press kit look like, and how do I secure the desired record deal or festival slot? We not only exchange ideas with each other through brief talks but also invite experts from the music industry to join us.
